Update on the ears...

Some of you knew Kaiden had a double ear infection. He's been a real trooper, and hardly complained! To top it off, he's been teething like mad, and is already working on a second tooth! He was on Zithromax, which he finished up the 16th. Today we had an unscheduled follow-up, since his ears seemed to be bothering him again, specifically his left.

At the previous appointment, his ear drums were red and angry looking, with puss in both ears. Today, his right ear was fine, and his left seems to be healing as well. There is still fluid in that ear, but no puss, and his ear drums look fine. We go back in another 2 weeks to have them checked again. Hoping for no fluid next time!

In more shocking news, Kaiden has gotten HUGE! He was 22lbs 12oz on the 12th, and today weighed in at 23lb 9oz! That's 13oz in 2 weeks! WOW! Thank goodness I have my Mei Tai to wear him in, otherwise my back would be killing me!
